Golden winds imbue the pear city with autumn hues, as the grand event gathers guests from far and wide. With all agenda items completed, the "Academic Exchange Conference on Temperature Metrology Research Progress and Application Technology & 2026 Temperature Metrology Professional Committee Election Meeting" concluded successfully in Korla, Xinjiang. This grand event brought together representatives from national metrology technical institutions, universities and research institutes, and industry enterprises, successfully completing important work including academic reports, standards and regulations discussions, committee member elections, enterprise technical exchanges, and on-site park investigations. PANRAN participated deeply throughout the conference, building industry communication bridges through an exclusive appreciation dinner and showcasing multiple latest products on-site.

Expressing Gratitude Through Banquet, Gathering Together in Unity
On the eve of the conference opening, on the evening of September 14, PANRAN hosted an exclusive appreciation dinner at the Jinshan Hall of the Renaissance Hotel, entertaining metrology industry colleagues, experts, and partners from across the country who had traveled from afar. Liu Shenglong, Deputy Mayor of Korla City, attended the dinner. Zhao Xingwang, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Municipal Commerce and Industry Bureau, Li Jinpeng, Party Member of the Municipal Commerce and Industry Bureau and Director of the Investment Promotion Service Center, and Zhang Huatong, Cadre of the Municipal Investment Promotion Service Center, each delivered presentations on Korla's industry and cultural tourism, showcasing the pear city's industrial strength and Silk Road cultural charm to attending guests.
General Manager Zhang Jun took the stage on behalf of the company to deliver a speech, expressing sincere gratitude to all colleagues who have long trusted and supported Panran's development. He noted that industry progress relies on every practitioner's collaborative exploration, and PANRAN will continue to base itself on practical application scenarios in thermal metrology, persist in product innovation and refinement, and forge ahead together with industry partners to jointly promote the quality upgrade of the temperature metrology industry.
The dinner venue was filled with rich Bazhou ethnic charm. Featured ethnic dances, instrumental performances, and other programs were presented in sequence, with the strong regional culture captivating all guests. The dinner's auspicious whole roasted lamb carving ceremony commenced, following traditional Mongolian etiquette to open the feast, praying for prosperous endeavors and smooth sailing in all matters.
The dinner's interactive segments were wonderfully diverse, with fun games taking turns, bringing constant surprises. Accompanied by song, dance, and laughter, fellow attendees chatted about friendship, engaging in technical exchanges and discussing industry development in a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere.
Gathering Wisdom and Discussing Principles, Taking New Posts and Opening New Chapters
As the appreciation dinner warmly concluded, the conference discussions officially began. The conference grandly opened on the morning of September 15, with the opening ceremony presided over by Zhuo Hua, Director of the Thermal Engineering Institute of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Institute of Metrology and Testing. Liu Shenglong, Deputy Mayor of Korla City, Ma Jungang, Party Secretary of the Xinjiang Institute of Metrology, Wu Fangdi, Chairman of the China Metrology Association, Wang Hongjun, Director of the Thermal Engineering Institute of the National Institute of Metrology, and other leaders and experts attended the conference.
The academic exchange segment was wonderfully diverse, with over twenty domestic industry experts taking the stage in succession to share research results, conducting in-depth discussions around frontier directions including metrology digital transformation, temperature and humidity testing technology, sensor research and development, and intelligent temperature measurement applications.
General Manager Zhang Jun was invited to deliver a special report at the conference titled "Application of Smart Metrology in the Field of Temperature Calibration," sharing practical experience and reflections on implementing smart metrology technology in temperature calibration scenarios from an industry practice perspective, engaging in technical exchange and collision with experts and colleagues on-site.
At the subsequently held Temperature Metrology Professional Committee election meeting, the fifth committee's work summary was completed and the sixth committee was elected. Through election and appointment, General Manager Zhang Jun was appointed as Vice Chairman of the sixth committee of the Temperature Metrology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Measurement. This represents both industry recognition of General Manager Zhang's personal practical accumulation in the thermal metrology field and full affirmation of PANRAN's years of deep industry cultivation.
As a research and development manufacturing enterprise deeply cultivated in the thermal metrology field, the company brought recently launched products including the PR151/PR152 series intelligent calibration workstation and the PR556 series self-powered mini thermostatic bath to conduct technical exchanges with industry colleagues. During the conference, the PANRAN team communicated face-to-face with metrology experts and frontline technical personnel from across the country, earnestly collecting real usage needs from laboratories and industrial sites, and jointly exploring the future development direction of metrology equipment.
This Korla journey has come to a successful conclusion. Sincere thanks to the organizers and hosts of this conference for their meticulous organization.
